  • Please leave your cat at home. All of our cats arrive at Kitt’s Café & Gandalf’s Garden with a clean bill of health from Humane PA and are chosen specifically because they would do well in a cat café environment.

  • We are not able to take in surrendered or stray cats. Please contact your local shelter or rescue organization for assistance with this.

  • The entrance fee is how we are able to pay for the rent, utilities, supplies, and staff. This also helps ensure that we are able to continue finding homes for cats and kittens as long as possible. A portion of each entrance fee will also be donated to a local cat organization each month.

  • Cats and kittens can be unpredictable, and don’t always know how to use their claws and teeth. As a result, any interaction with cats does pose risks, and we want to be clear about the dangers of being scratched, bitten, or otherwise injured by one of the cats in our cat area. For these reasons, you must read and acknowledge a waiver prior to entering the cat area.

  • While children of all ages are welcome in the café, for the safety of our cats and your little ones, children must be at least 5 years old to enter the cat area. No running, rough play or chasing the cats is allowed. This ensures that our cats feel safe and happy. Each child between the ages of 5 and 10 must be closely supervised by an adult when in the cat area. In the future, we intend to have special times for children under the age of 5.

  • Absolutely! We have plenty of seating outside of the cat area.

  • We currently do not offer order ahead, but all of our items are available for takeout.

  • Congrats! We follow Humane PA’s adoption process. We will walk you through the process during your visit.

  • You do not need to adopt if you visit! We hope we can find a fur-ever home for all of our cats, but we understand there are reasons you may not be able to adopt. That's okay! Anyone can visit to just enjoy the company of cats. When you visit, you're helping socialize our cats so they'll be ready to meet their fur-ever family when the time comes.

  • We will help match you to the right cat or kitten! Just ask us for advice. Please be sure to check the bio of each cat to ensure they match your family dynamic, and then reserve a time to visit us to get to know the cats and their personality.

  • We will help match you with the best houseplant(s) for your situation! Just ask us for suggestions and we are happy to help.

  • We are not hiring at this time but appreciate your interest.
